When I took up the role of State Minister of Health in Warrap State, I understood that public trust is not inherited — it is earned through consistent, visible action.
Over the years, I have come to believe that accountable leadership means three things: showing up, telling the truth even when it is inconvenient, and measuring success by outcomes for ordinary families rather than announcements.
This is the standard I continue to hold myself to, and the standard I believe every public servant in South Sudan should be held to.
