Being honored with the Focus Africa Decade of Significance Award in Kigali was a humbling moment. But awards like this are, at their best, a mirror held up to the people who did the actual work: relief teams, health workers, and community leaders across Warrap State and beyond.
I accept this recognition on their behalf, and as a renewed commitment to relief operations, food security, and education across the communities that need it most.
